Cliff jumping spots in Catalan Pre-Pyrenees
This region isn't huge, but it's perfect for a day trip. There are some lovely areas like Berga, Ripoll, and La Garrotxa, as well as the Mont-rebei Gorge. You'll never find them too crowded because most people prefer the Pyrenees. The most typical landscapes you'll find are easy routes through gorges and natural pools, walks along rivers, and plenty of places to swim, so don't be silly and bring your swimsuit all year round (you can even enjoy it in winter). In the Berga and Ripoll area, the Pre-Pyrenees have more elevation gain, and the landscapes are more rugged and higher. There are many viewpoints in Berga that offer stunning panoramic views.
