Gruta do Acaiá
It's an underground cavity located below sea level. The incredible thing about this place is that ocean water seeps through rock tunnels beneath the earth, and when sunlight hits the water from outside, a stunning optical phenomenon of fluorescence occurs. The water glows in the dark with an electric blue or neon green.
Entering and descending into the grotto is difficult. The cave mouth is barely a narrow crack between rocks, and you descend a wooden ladder. Below, you have to crawl through a narrow, dark tunnel until you reach a larger underground chamber.
