Playa Elafonissi
It's located in the southwest of the island of Crete, Greece. Its most striking feature is its pinkish sand, which in some areas blends with white sand. This pink hue isn't uniform across the entire beach, but appears in certain spots, especially near the water's edge. It's primarily due to the erosion of shells and marine microorganisms which, as they break down, mix with the sand and give it that characteristic color.
