Dettifoss
It's one of the most impressive waterfalls in the country because of the sheer volume of water. The flow is incredible, and when you arrive, it's truly breathtaking to see all that force cascading into a canyon surrounded by rocky walls.
The entire surrounding area is very different, with a dry, rocky landscape that makes the waterfall stand out even more. You can get close to the viewpoints, where you'll find stunning, unobstructed views.
