Lance's Right
Possibly the most famous wave in the Mentawais and without a doubt the jewel of Katiet. A reef right that breaks almost always and that, in the dry season — especially July and August — goes into serious mode. It's a very consistent wave, with a fast take-off and sections that, when a good swell comes in, produce perfect, long and very clean barrels.
Be careful, because it's no joke. When it's big it becomes demanding and quite dangerous — it's not for people without a good level. The reef is very shallow, especially at low tide, where you can literally see the rocks below.
