Rifugio Alpe di Tires
It's a really cool refuge in the Dolomites, accessible from Alpe di Siusi. While the views from the refuge aren't as spectacular as in other areas, it's situated right below some impressive rock faces, creating an incredible atmosphere. You won't find the typical views of green meadows here, but it's still well worth the effort.
If you do this route, I recommend completing it and not just stopping at the lower part of Alpe di Siusi. At the refuge, you can stop for a coffee and enjoy the surroundings. It's a bit more exposed to the wind, and the hike there is a little longer, but it's totally worth it.
Also, right next to it is a really cool mountain pass, and the trail to get there is one of the best on the route: a narrow path that runs alongside a ravine, but without any technical difficulty and with spectacular views. Without a doubt, it's worth doing the whole hike.
