Anchor Point
Anchor Point is probably the most legendary spot in Taghazout. A fairly consistent wave that, when a good swell comes in, gives you a super long right, one of the longest I've surfed. The best season runs from October to April.
The only problem: there are always loads of people in the water and access is not easy at all, as getting in and out can be pretty tricky among the rocks. To get in, the usual thing is to do it from the rock platform near the peak, jumping. To get out, you can go around to Madraba Beach or paddle to the back where there's a small rocky cove.
