Strongman Mine Memorial
A beach viewpoint with a memorial dedicated to the 19 miners who died in the Strongman mine explosion in 1967. It's located on the West Coast, surrounded by forest and a grey sand beach. A worthwhile stop. You can also walk down to the beach from the middle section, and the views are fantastic, although swimming is not allowed.
