Hooker Lake
The end of the trail and probably the best moment. You arrive at this glacial lake with Mount Cook right in front of you. Water at 1°C with chunks of ice floating in it, enormous mountains all around… this place really took my breath away.
It's literally the end of the trail, after crossing several suspension bridges.
