Ballestas Islands
The Ballestas Islands are a must-see for marine wildlife enthusiasts in Peru. The tour departs by boat from Paracas, and from the moment you leave the port, there's always something to see. During the journey, you pass the famous Candelabro, a massive geoglyph etched into the hillside reminiscent of the Nazca Lines, whose history remains a mystery.
As you approach the islands, you'll see sea lions basking on the rocks, groups of Humboldt penguins, and hundreds of birds flying or perched on the cliffs. We even managed to spot dolphins, which isn't very common.
It's a perfect experience for wildlife lovers, as you can observe animals in their natural habitat while exploring some of the most breathtaking coastal landscapes on the Peruvian coast.
