Refugio de Lavasar
The refuge is a freestanding stone cabin in the middle of a stunning meadow surrounded by forests and towering peaks, just before the descent to the famous Ibón de Plan lake. The sky from up here is painted with incredible colors at sunset, and the atmosphere is incredibly wild; in fact, it's very easy to spot cows, Pyrenean cows, goats, and even the occasional fox snooping near the cabin as night falls.
