Ibon de Villamuerta Bajo
The first lake you encounter on the route is Ibón de Villamuerta Bajo, and it immediately leaves you with a very positive impression. It's a small but beautiful lake, with crystal-clear water and completely surrounded by mountains. It's not the most stunning in the area, but it's still very nice. Swimming isn't allowed, but it's still absolutely worth it. It's part of a circular route that connects several mountain lakes, so in the end, it's not just the lake itself, but the entire route and its surroundings that make it special. In summer, it might be a bit more crowded, but it doesn't usually feel overcrowded. It remains a peaceful spot.
