Ibon de las Truchas
An incredible, very peaceful mountain lake just above the Astún ski resort. It's surrounded by grassy slopes, grazing horses and cows, with panoramic views of the Astún valley and the mountains that separate Spain and France. It's located next to a ski lift.
It's a beautiful spot, perfect for a short hike and enjoying nature. In summer it gets a little busy (but not too crowded), although the area is quite large and you can easily find some solitude. I highly recommend doing the Three Lakes Route; I would definitely do it again.
