Estaca de Bares
It's an iconic place because it marks the imaginary divide between the Cantabrian Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. It's one of the most symbolic points in northern Spain.
Here you'll also find the Estaca de Bares Lighthouse, very recognisable and emblematic in the north.
From the lighthouse a path sets off that continues to the rockiest tip. The trail gradually narrows, but you can walk it with no problem. Once at the end, there are small rock formations off the coast that look like islands. You can't reach them on foot, but it's impressive to see how the sea crashes against the rocks.
To the left the open views continue over the whole coast of the Rías Altas, which makes the place a very wide and spectacular landscape. It's a very beautiful place and very representative of Galicia.
It's usually quite busy, especially in high season, but it's still a must.
