Peña Oroel
Peña Oroel is a very famous mountain that overlooks the city of Jaca, offering stunning panoramic views of the Pyrenees. On its southern face lies the renowned Monastery of San Juan de la Peña, the birthplace of the Kingdom of Aragon, which is well worth a visit. The ascent is very easy, requiring no mountaineering experience, but is highly rewarding and steeped in history.
