The Escarrilla Balance
The Escarrilla Waterfall is a powerful and striking cascade formed by the Escarra River, which plunges forcefully between rock walls and lush vegetation. It's not a massive waterfall, but it has plenty of character: clear water, a constant roar, and a verdant setting, especially in spring and early summer. It's the perfect spot for a short break, to stretch your legs, or simply to sit and enjoy the scenery. It's not a particularly wild area, but it's very pleasant and easy to combine with other excursions in the Tena Valley.
