Ibone de Arriel
A mountain route from the La Sarra reservoir, near Sallent de Gállego, to the Arriel Lakes, a group of high-mountain lakes in the Aragonese Pyrenees.
The first part follows the GR-11 trail towards Respomuso and is quite easy. After leaving the GR, the more demanding section begins, ascending through forest and rocky terrain until reaching first the Lower Arriel Lake and, if you continue, the Upper Arriel Lake.
The distance and elevation gain depend somewhat on which lake you reach and how you choose the route, although all variations use practically the same path. As a guide, hiking to the upper lakes and returning along the same route takes about 5 hours.
