Wasgamuwa National Park
Wasgamuwa National Park is a well-known destination for elephant viewing. It offers a comprehensive safari experience where you can see elephants up close, as well as deer, birds, and, with a bit of luck, leopards (though these are rarer here; they're easier to spot in Yala).
The tour is conducted by jeep and traverses diverse areas of the park, including rivers, dirt tracks, and open areas where the animals roam freely. It's a truly exceptional experience.
