Glaciar Perito Moreno
The Perito Moreno Glacier is one of the most iconic in the world, and it truly is breathtaking, especially because of how close you can get and its sheer size. Seeing it in person is incredible.
There are walkways that allow you to descend to different levels and get quite close to the glacier's face. Although the glacier is receding and is now somewhat farther away than before, it's still very visible, and you can spend quite a while watching ice calving, which is one of the most beautiful aspects of the place.
Also, from a slightly higher vantage point, you get a great perspective of the entire upper part of the glacier, where you can see all the ice formations, crevasses, and volumes—it's astounding. It's generally a very touristy spot, with groups of people and tours. There are also options for activities, such as kayaking in front of the glacier or taking a boat trip to get even closer, but they are quite expensive. I personally didn't do them, but they are an option if you want to add something extra to the experience.
