Norries Cove
It's a beach about 45 minutes from the Gold Coast and it's quite top-notch: crystal-clear water, white sand, and usually some waves, although it varies a lot depending on the day. It's a great spot because it's a mix of long stretches of beach and more cove-like areas, without having to go too far out.
Plus, you can see whales and dolphins in this area, so it's quite common to be on the beach and see movement in the water, which adds a lot to the experience.
A great plan here is to combine the beach with the viewpoints above. From the rocks at the top, you have excellent views of both Maggis Beach and Norris Lookout. The top is definitely worth the trip because it completely changes your perspective of the entire coastline.
