Rio Turbio Campsite - Las Horquetas Circuit Day 1
It's the first day of the Las Horquetas trail, an unmissable section of the Carretera Austral.
This is the first day of the trek, and we arrive at the Rio Turbio Campsite, located in a forest, with space for tents, picnic tables, and a latrine. Reaching the first campsite is a welcome relief as you prepare for day two. Along the trail, you might see various birds and wildlife, including wild boars (though unlikely). The luckiest hikers may even spot huemul deer along this entire route.
