Poon Hill
Poon Hill is, for me, the best sunset I've ever seen. The views are absolutely breathtaking, with a direct panorama of two eight-thousanders: Annapurna and Dhaulagiri.
On a clear day, the sun paints Annapurna red, and combined with the snow, it creates a spectacular scene. On the other side, towards Pokhara, a sea of clouds forms, which is also incredible. All of this together makes for a stunning visual spectacle.
The site is quite well-equipped, with benches and a viewing tower that you can climb for even better views and amazing photos. You get there by going to Annapurna Base Camp.
