Mannlichen
A very typical summer route in the Grindelwald area. It's an easy and accessible plan for almost everyone, even families or people who don't want to do big walks.
To get up top you have to take the Männlichen cable car (from Grindelwald Terminal or from Wengen, another village). In summer you go up this way as it drops you almost at the top of the mountain.
Once up top, all that's left is to walk approximately 1 km along a very pleasant trail to the summit viewpoint. It's an easy walk with amazing views the whole time.
From the top you have one of the most famous panoramas in the area: the valley villages on both sides and, right in front, the Eiger, with its famous north rock face that's hugely imposing.
