Botes Mineros Abandonados
It's a spot you visit on the boat tour from Puerto Río Tranquilo.
It's basically an old mining ship that's been wrecked and is now half-abandoned in the lake. It's nice to see and take some photos, but it's not exactly the most incredible place in the world. It's usually the first stop on the tour, and they explain a bit of its history, but that's about it.
What is really cool, though, is the whole setting: you're sailing across General Carrera Lake, which is enormous (one of the largest in South America), with crystal-clear glacial water. If you get a good day, the color of the water and the surrounding mountains make the trip well worth it.
Also, you only see this spot if you take the boat tour. You don't usually get this far in a kayak.
