Salar de Aguas Calientes II
The Aguas Calientes Salt Flat II is the most remote of the three salt flats in the Atacama Desert. It's rarely visited, with the occasional park ranger, which gives it a peaceful feel.
It's not as dramatic as the Aguas Calientes Salt Flat III, but it's certainly more interesting than the first. What makes it so special is the surrounding environment: free-roaming wildlife like flamingos, vicuñas, and other birds, and the striking contrast with the high Andean plateau mountains in the background. It's an incredible spot because of its remoteness.
