Puri Libre I
The Puritama Hot Springs are located within a beautiful canyon where the river forms several natural pools along its course. The idea is to hike up or down the canyon, discovering different thermal pools of varying shapes, sizes, and comfort levels.
This is the first one you'll find as you begin your descent. They're quite wide and open, but they also tend to be the most crowded because everyone enters first. The water here isn't very hot, more of a lukewarm, verging on cool, although it feels pleasant in the water. They aren't the most spectacular.
