Svartifoss
Coming soon: Svartifoss is one of Iceland's most unique waterfalls, famous for the basalt column formations that surround it. These geometric structures were formed by the slow cooling of lava, creating those characteristic hexagonal shapes that seem almost artificial.
The waterfall plunges into the middle of this natural amphitheater of black rock, making it very different from other waterfalls in the country. Furthermore, the entire park surrounding it is very peaceful, with open views along the way.
