Tanjung Aan
The most legendary beach in Lombok, and rightly so. Amazing vibe, crystal-clear water, white sand and a very social feel that makes it different from the rest.
In the afternoon, football and volleyball games usually get going, and if you're learning to surf this is the ideal spot to learn (you can grab a little boat and head out to an easy wave, perfect for starting without complications).
