Mirador Laguna Sucia
The Laguna Sucia viewpoint is located right next to Laguna de los Tres, within the Fitz Roy mountain range in El Chaltén.
It's a fantastic viewpoint because from there you can see both Laguna de los Tres and Laguna Sucia simultaneously, with the entire Fitz Roy massif in the background.
It's a very exposed spot, but when the weather is clear, the landscape is stunning, especially at sunrise.
One of the most special moments is just as the first rays of sunlight appear: for a minute or two, the granite of Fitz Roy is bathed in orange hues, and the entire panorama of lakes and mountains is completely transformed.
