Mirador de las Aguilas
The Mirador de las Águilas (Eagles' Lookout) is a viewpoint quite close to El Chaltén, perfect for watching the sunrise or enjoying a panoramic view of Fitz Roy and its towers without a very long trek.
It's a great option if you don't want to do a long hike but still want to see the effect of the sunrise illuminating the granite. When the first rays of sunlight hit, the entire Fitz Roy turns orange for a few minutes, and this is also quite noticeable from here.
It's not the most spectacular viewpoint in the area compared to other longer treks, but its accessibility and proximity to town make it a very good choice.
