Laguna Cisnes
Laguna Cisnes is located within Patagonia National Park and marks the lower end of the trail; you're right in front of the lagoon. It's not a place for swimming or anything like that, but the surroundings are beautiful: calm water, many vicuñas roaming nearby, and a fairly open landscape with mountains in the background.
The change in scenery compared to other, greener areas of Patagonia is quite noticeable here, with a drier environment and more wildlife overall. It's also an area where you're more likely to encounter animals like pumas, although they're still difficult to spot.
