Laguna Torres del Avellano
The Lagunas de las Torres del Avellano are, in my opinion, one of the best spots you can visit in Patagonia. It's absolutely incredible, but also a demanding route.
It's a 3-day trek starting from Bahía Murta: Day 1 → hike to base camp; Day 2 → hike to the lagoons and return to base camp; Day 3 → return to the starting point. Although the distance may not seem that great, you're self-sufficient (with tent, food, etc.) and there's a lot of mud, so it's quite tough even if you're used to hiking.
The spot itself is breathtaking: two lagoons surrounded by giant granite walls, the Torres del Avellano. It's a very little-known place (it was discovered relatively recently) and you're completely alone at the top.
The entire journey adds up to something amazing: you hike up the valley, past the river, waterfalls, and forest, and when you reach the top, you're greeted by this incredible cirque of mountains.
