Diamond Beach
Diamond Beach is one of the most unique places in the world. It's a black sand beach located right at the mouth of the Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon, where fragments of ice calved from the glacier wash ashore.
These blocks of ice, some completely transparent and others whitish, become stranded on the black sand, which gives it the name "Diamond Beach." It's a very special place because you can see these small icebergs up close, touch them, and walk the entire beach among them.
