Putaruru Blue Springs
A spring of crystal-clear, intensely blue water, considered one of the purest in the world. The water flows from deep aquifers, filtered for decades through volcanic rock, giving it an almost unreal transparency. It might not look as good in the photos during the day, but the spot is stunning.
