Hobbiton
A cinematic set built on a rolling farm in the Waikato Mountains, recreating the Shire from The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.
The guided tour is structured: you walk among more than 40 hobbit holes, meticulously landscaped gardens, and the iconic Green Dragon Inn, where a drink is served at the end of the tour. The entire place is designed as a continuous visual immersion in the film's aesthetic, rather than a natural setting.
It's a private tourist experience with controlled access.
