Pūtangirua Pinnacles
Spectacular rock formations resembling eroded chimneys, situated in a dry valley surrounded by hills. It's a truly unique landscape, famous for its otherworldly appearance (and for its appearance in The Lord of the Rings). A short but very scenic trail.
